inMy blog about old concrete stamps hit 100 views last month
That "super niche" feeling is so real! My friend has a blog just about the different sounds old refrigerators make when they turn on. He started it as a joke, but last year he got an email from a museum curator who was trying to date an appliance in an exhibit and his recordings were the only reference. He was floored that his weird little thing actually helped someone.

inHad to decide between a quick fix or a full rebuild on a 15 year old dryer motor
Honestly I would have just done the brushes. A lot of times that gets you another few years for a fraction of the cost. If the armature fails later, you can always swap the motor then.

inIdk why people mock my AOL keyword searches, but they turned me into a quick learner.
Honestly seems like overthinking it. People just type stuff into a box, same as they'd ask a person. The real trick is if the search bar can understand them. Most are pretty bad at that. Not sure we need a whole new word for a normal question.

inWas reading an old trade journal and the numbers on coolant waste blew my mind
10,000 gallons from one shop is a crazy number to see written down. That's not just a few drums, that's a whole environmental headache on wheels.

inI used to think stacking 50 frames was the only way to get a good deep sky shot
Yeah that tracks with what I've seen. There's definitely a sweet spot before you start killing the faint details. I'd rather have a sharper stack of 30 good frames than a muddy mess of 100.
