Can we talk about how everyone says to just 'post more content' for SEO?
I ran into this big problem last month where my site's traffic just dropped off a cliff. Everyone in the forums kept saying to just publish more blog posts, that volume was key. So I spent three weeks, I'm not kidding, writing and publishing a new post every single day. I used up all my good ideas. After 21 posts and zero traffic improvement, I finally dug into Google Search Console. Turns out, a bunch of my older, good pages had gotten thin content flags from an algorithm update I missed. All that new writing was a total waste of time. Fixing the old pages, which took another two weeks of real work, is what finally started moving the needle. Has anyone else gotten burned by following the 'just post more' advice without checking the basics first?
