Gotta say, leaving the parking brake on in a damp shed is asking for trouble, but not using it at all on flat ground is fine unless your quad's got a weak transmission that could roll.

That thing about "the winner was clear" really got me. I've been in that same spot where you just want a straight answer from a test. Your gravel ride test is way more legit than what I usually do, which is just pump up and hope for the best. I actually had the opposite happen with Stans once on a mountain bike in wet conditions, held air like a champ for weeks. But that was on tubeless rims that were almost new, so maybe the setup just worked better for it. Sucks when there's no one-size-fits-all answer, right?

8 minutes and a zip tie, what's next, true a wheel with a twig and some bubble gum? I'd trust that fix about as far as I can throw a full-sized pickup. Guys at co-ops do some wild stuff but at least they take the tire off and check the damn thing. This guy probably just gave it a few twists, called it good, and then went ripping down a rock garden. He'll find out real quick when that wheel starts wobbling like a shopping cart with a bad wheel.

Bet it still updates via carrier pigeon too.
