I spent 45 minutes last Tuesday copying a regex from a 2011 Stack Overflow answer and pasting it into my code. It worked so I never touched it. Then someone asked me what the regex did and I just stared at the screen like it was written in another language. Turns out I have no clue what half the code I "wrote" actually does. Now when I paste something in, I try to read it first. Try being the key word.
