A guy at a campsite in Flagstaff handed me his 8 year old stove and said just try it
I was setting up my site near Flagstaff last spring and the guy next to me saw me fighting with my new stove for 20 minutes. He walked over with this beat up old Peak 1, no box, no instructions, and said just try it, so I did and it lit on the first click. Makes me wonder if I'm overthinking gear reviews when a $15 yard sale stove beats my $120 one, what's the oldest piece of gear you still trust?
