My agent told me to wait on buying and I'm SO glad I listened

lol my agent literally stopped me from putting an offer on a fixer upper that looked "cute" in photos but was basically held together with duct tape and hope. i was so mad at first like "you're just being lazy" but turns out the foundation was literally crumbling. so now i trust her even when she tells me the opposite of what i wanna hear. agents aren't always right but sometimes they save you from yourself and your bad taste in houses. i'm just glad my bad decision making worked out for someone else too haha.

Finally saw the before and after on my taping after 3 months of trying the 45-minute mud

Wait, you're telling me I've been voluntarily waiting around for mud to dry when I could have been done hours ago? lmao

Tried two different ways to record a beat on a 90s Casio keyboard and wow what a difference

I mean, I kind of have to disagree with you there. The whole point of those old Casio samplers is they're so cheap and lo-fi that the bad timing and crunchy sound is what makes them interesting. I've messed around with an SK-5 and the unquantized beats sound way more alive than anything you can get from a modern drum machine with perfect grid snapping. That messy, human feel is the whole appeal to me.

A weird thing at the gas station on Elm and 5th made me double-check everything now

Oh man, that "computer ghost" thing is exactly how I describe it too! It's like the pump has its own little brain that decides when to actually process payments. My theory is those old gas station systems are running on some ancient software held together with duct tape and good intentions.

I used to think those little plastic clips on dryer belts were just a pain, but a video from a guy in Texas changed my mind.

Wow, is it really that serious though?
