Drove past an old abandoned school and it hit me about my journaling

I was driving through small town Ohio last week and saw this old brick school from the 1920s with ivy growing all over it. It made me realize my bullet journal is like that building - i keep adding new spreads without ever going back to check if old ones are still useful. I was grabbing bags of Quikrete yesterday morning and overheard this older finisher telling a newbie that nobody hand finishes floors anymore. He said his crew can do 10,000 square feet in a day with a power trowel and it looks better than anything done by hand. But I've been on jobs where power trowels left those little swirl marks that took forever to grind out, especially on colored concrete. Hand troweling gives you more control around edges and tight spots, no question. So is the old school hand method really just a waste of time now, or does it still have its place on certain pours? What do you guys think for something like a small patio versus a big warehouse slab?

Can I fix a light leak on my own or send it out?

I shot a roll of Fuji C200 last weekend at Golden Gate Park and half the frames have this orange streak along the right edge. It's definitely a light leak around the back hinge of my Canon AE-1. I watched a few YouTube guides about replacing the foam seals but I've never done anything like that before. A local shop quoted me $60 to do the job which feels steep for a camera I got for $40 at a flea market. Has anyone here tried the DIY seal kits from Amazon and had them actually work?
