Gotta disagree on this one. Going in blind sounds chill until you're 40 minutes deep in some slow burn drama that looked cool in the thumbnail and now you feel like you have to finish it. I tried the no list thing for a month and ended up watching the first 15 minutes of like nine different shows, which is way worse than never getting past episode 2. At least with a list you know what you actually want to watch instead of letting the Netflix algorithm pick for you. Half the stuff they push looks good for two sips of coffee and then falls apart by episode 3.

Did you pay with PayPal goods and services or was it straight cash? I got burned on a dead 2975A a couple years back and PayPal actually refunded me after the guy went dark, took about 3 weeks but worth filing if you went that route. For the repair side, there's a guy in Tucson who fixes old IFR stuff, I can dig up his info if you want, he charged me $180 plus return shipping to swap the power supply caps on mine and it's been running fine since. Facebook Marketplace is a total gamble for this stuff, I only do cash in person now if I can power it up first.
