WARNING: check the tie-down strap on your chipper feed roller, mine was about to snap
I almost ate a piece of shrapnel last Tuesday because of a worn strap on my Bandit 250. Turns out the roller had been slowly working itself loose for weeks, and a 5 minute inspection with a flashlight would have caught it. Now I check that strap and the bolts every morning before the first job. Has anyone else found a cracked or stretched strap on their feed roller, and how often do you swap em?
