inHot take: Catching a shady link by checking where it really goes
Ever been tricked by a link that looked legit but sent you somewhere weird? Last week I clicked on a supposed recipe blog link from a forum, and instead of cooking tips, it redirected through two ad pages before landing on a survey. My browser history showed a totally different domain than what I hovered over. It made me realize how easy it is to hide redirects. Now I double-check URLs before clicking, especially on sketchy sites.

inUpdate: I always brushed off our book club's fights about mother-daughter relationships in novels, but yesterday's chat on 'Where the Crawdads Sing' turned me around.
So your book club's real hobby is using novels to politely psychoanalyze each other's parents, right? One meeting you're talking about fictional isolation, the next you're basically in group therapy.
