The handwritten flyer for a lost turtle I saw 2 years ago is still up at the same coffee shop
I mean, I used to just glance at bulletin boards and never really look twice, idk why I even bothered. But after I found that faded flyer for a missing turtle named Shelly near the register at Brew House Coffee in Portland, I started actually reading everything. It was dated June 2022, and I saw it again last week still hanging there with the same curling edges. Now I snap photos of funny ones like that, and I even check for updates on the ones that look old. It changed how I treat these boards like a little time capsule of the neighborhood, not just random paper. Has anyone else found a flyer that's been up way longer than it probably should be?

Oh my gosh, YES! I still see this missing cat poster from 2021 taped to a lamp post near my apartment and it's so faded you can barely read it anymore, but nobody ever takes it down.
