My old grocery list method was costing me $30 a week without me knowing
I used to just walk into the store and grab whatever looked good, no list no plan. Last month I started doing a quick 10 minute meal plan every Sunday and now I only buy what's actually on the list, plus a few staples like rice and beans. The big change was checking my pantry before I wrote the list, I kept buying canned tomatoes I already had 4 of. Yesterday I noticed my grocery bill went from around $110 to $78, and I'm wasting way less food. Anyone else switch to a strict weekly list and see their spend drop like that, or do you just eyeball it and hope for the best?

Girl, my friend Sarah used to do the exact same thing and her cart was always a mess of random stuff she already had at home. She finally started snapping pics of her pantry shelves on her phone before shopping and it cut her bill by like 25 bucks a week, no joke. Now she's the one telling everyone to check what they got before they go, it's a total game changer.
