Shoutout to the lady at Starbucks who saw me bullet journaling and asked about my habit tracker

I have a four-year-old bullet journal on my shelf that started with a simple habit tracker and ended up with a full page of symbols for different headache types I was getting at the time. That kind of layering is what makes this system work for me when nothing else did. Thomas is right that a color graph is fine for one or two things but if you're tracking more than that it just turns into a mess. I think people forget that the whole point of bullet journaling is to build a tool that fits your life not squeeze your life into a pre-made template. My spread for work deadlines looks completely different from my personal one and that's okay because they serve different purposes. Letting other people's opinions limit what you put in your own journal defeats the purpose of having one in the first place.

I used to think you were crazy for weighing your beans...

Totally get that @blair_davis50, it's funny how we write stuff off until we actually give it a shot. It's like how I thought sourdough bread was just a trend until I made my own starter and realized it's actually kind of amazing. Makes you wonder how many other things we're missing out on because they look too fancy.

Spent 45 minutes trying to fix a steamer that just needed the cap loosened

Oh man, doesn't that just make you want to throw the whole machine out the window? I've been there more times than I care to admit, tearing apart something complicated only to realize the issue was something stupidly simple I overlooked. It's always the little things that get you, like a loose cap or a seal you forgot to put back, and you just stand there feeling like you wasted a whole afternoon for nothing.

Pro tip: Binging a show in one weekend ruins the experience, fight me lol

I actually have to disagree with you there, parkergarcia. I think those quiet moments with his sister felt a little too on the nose, like the show was trying too hard to make you feel bad for him. If anything, the bigger twists are what kept me from dropping it entirely, and @paige_patel84 might back me up on this.

That time my coworker called out my chaotic weekly spreads

You said your coworker showed you how he splits his week into morning and afternoon sections. That's not really a thin line down the middle though, it's more of a two column layout where the line just separates the time blocks.
