A guy at a camera swap in Reno said my light meter app would outlast my F3, and I've been chewing on it for 2 weeks
I was standing at the folding table with my Nikon F3 and a handheld meter when an older guy next to me pointed at his phone and said the app on it was the real future for metering. I laughed it off in the moment, but later I pulled up the roll I shot that day and the exposures were all over the place, mostly on me and not the gear. It made me think about how much of my film budget goes to covering sloppy habits instead of buying more cameras. What did you cut from your kit or routine once you realized the gear wasn't the problem?
