I finally tried that $18 'secret' taco stand off Route 9 and got food poisoning
Saw it hyped on a local food page as the best cheap eats around, so I drove out to Route 9 in Middletown and paid $18 for three tacos and a drink. Meat was lukewarm and I was up all night sick, so that cheap eats tip cost me a whole Saturday and about $30 with gas. Now I stick to the spot on Main St, but does anyone know a taco place that's actually worth the drive?
