Honestly I used to think ultralight gear was overhyped, but after that many nights I've completely flipped on it. Idk, everything just feels heavier when you're using it day after day.

and the green coated ones are just as bad if you get a bad batch. i picked up a box of the coated ones from the same place last month and half of them snapped when i tried driving them into studs. whoever's running their fastener aisle needs to get their act together, because i've had more problems with their screw mixes in the last year than all the years before combined.

Bet the old needle was actually flexing more as it wore down, changing your stitch angle without you noticing. A fresh needle probably made your tension way more consistent too, not just the speed.

My mom had something similar happen with her Roku stick where it kept showing up twice in the device list, turned out to be a glitch after a firmware update. Maybe it's just me but I'd rather change the password anyway, better safe than sorry with all the smart home stuff these days. Idk, sometimes those random devices are just weird naming overlaps from the manufacturer but it's still unsettling to see.
