PSA: The Elm Street farmers market on Saturdays is a trap after 9am
I got there at 8:15 last Saturday and had my pick of everything, but by 9:30 the place was packed shoulder to shoulder and the good peach stand (Marlow's, third row back) was wiped out. Two vendors told me the crowd doubles once the brunch places open up, so the early window is the only sane time to go. Parking behind the old hardware store off 5th fills up by 8:45 too. Anyone know if the Tuesday evening market is any calmer, or is it the same crush?
