Shoutout to the rusty drain grate on my street in Omaha that I stared at for 10 blocks straight
So I had to pick a route to walk my dog every morning and I always go left at the corner, but Thursday I picked right and it took me past a storm drain that I swear looks like a face. The rust pattern has two dark spots for eyes and a crack for a mouth, and the leaves caught on the grate made it look like hair. I stood there so long my dog tugged me off balance and I dropped the bag of poop I was carrying. Now I have to walk that way every day just to check if the face still looks the same after rain. The other route has nothing, just plain sidewalk and a mailbox that looks like a mailbox. My wife says I am losing it but I took 9 photos from different angles and one of them is actually good. Has anyone else found something like this on their normal dog walk and then felt weird when it changed?

Sounds like your wife owes you an apology once that drain face hits the news and gets its own Instagram. Honestly the rusty face is the least weird part of this, the sad part is you dropped a fresh bag of poop and now that corner has two landmarks. You will know it changed after the rain, sure, but the real test is whether it frowns harder in winter. Keep taking the photos, a good one from nine tries is still a win in my book.
