inI get flak for testing every outlet, but it caught a reverse polarity yesterday.
Totally feel that, @charles_green. My habit of checking I have my keys before locking the door felt silly until I avoided getting locked out in the rain last week. Same with double-checking meeting times on my calendar. It takes two seconds but saved me from missing a call yesterday. Those little things add up, even if they seem like too much work at first.

inTIL skipping joist hangers is a fast track to wobbly decks.
Seriously... @wesley_hart's neighbor found out fast. Skipping hangers is such a bad move... it feels quicker but always bites you later. I mean, that wobble turns into a scary shake real quick... no thanks. Just put them in right and save the headache.
