Man, I've noticed the same thing with podcasts versus reading articles, some stuff just locks in better when someone talks it through. I say whatever keeps you in the story counts.

Feeling that one in my soul. Spent years scrubbing my old truck with whatever was under the kitchen sink and wondering why the paint looked like a spider web in the sun.
