inWalked into a new build in Nashville yesterday...
Bro it's wild you say that because I swear this whole "no seams" thing is bleeding into everything now. I was at the grocery store last week and saw bagged salad that's literally just one giant leaf of lettuce, like we can't handle two smaller leaves touching each other. Same with our phones too, everyone wants one giant slab of glass instead of a phone with a separate screen and buttons. It's like we're all trying to hide the fact that things are made of smaller parts, like we're embarrassed by joints or connections. Pretty soon we'll be building houses out of one giant 3D printed block and eating a single pasta noodle for dinner. Just funny how scared everyone got of putting things together.

inRant: That old guy on a forum told me to use Wayback Machine instead of Screaming Frog for dead link checks and I argued with him for an hour
My buddy spent a whole day fixing a site before someone told him he could've used the Wayback Machine in ten minutes.

inQuestion about a talk with my niece that flipped a writing prompt idea
You ever have one of those days where you just can't catch a break? I feel that in my bones. Lost my wallet twice last week and still can't find the phone charger I bought three days ago. It's like stuff just evaporates when you need it most. Solidarity, man.

inFound out the new Liebherr 100-ton crane has a 0.5 second lag on the remote boom control, got that from a service bulletin I stumbled on last night
nah man i feel you on that, it's frustrating when you're trying to feather it in just right and the machine feels like it's thinking about it first. i was on a job last week fitting a HVAC unit through a tight roof opening and that half second made me miss my mark twice before i just had to take my hand off the remote and do it manually with the cab controls instead. the safety guys love it but they're not the ones sweating under a beam trying not to dent new steel.

inA job in Fresno changed my mind about power trowels.
Tbh the 48 inch trowel helps a lot but only if the crew knows how to handle that extra weight without bogging down.
