Am I the only one who thinks the 'lived-in color' trend is just lazy work?

Honestly, this whole thing feels like a money grab from some salons. They charge for a full highlight but only do a partial, then slap a trendy name on it. The client ends up paying for a service they didn't get, and the look falls apart in a few weeks. It's not a style, it's a shortcut. Good color work should grow out gracefully, not look messy from the start.

Just realized a bad crimp tool can cost you a whole afternoon

Yeah that continuity check thing is a perfect example of stuff looking fine until it has to actually work. It's like when a phone charger cable only works if you bend it just right. My Wera crimpers are the only ones I trust now because cheap tools always hide their problems until the worst time.

Just realized a bad print file can ruin a whole batch

My friend's print shop had a similar thing happen with a wedding invitation order. They printed the entire batch with the wrong date because the client sent a last-minute "corrected" file that was actually the old version. Had to overnight a whole new run on their own dime, it was a huge mess.

Can we talk about how much cheaper Lisbon got after I stopped eating near the main square

Honestly holly_young35, is it really that bad? You got a story out of it and ate pasta near a famous fountain. Sometimes paying extra for the spot is part of the fun, even if the food is just okay.

Found a major subfloor rot under new tile and had to make a call

Guess they'll need a bigger scapegoat when the whole floor caves in.
