Update on that new lime mortar I was skeptical about
I finally used the EcoRestore stuff on a chimney repoint in Boise last month, and after a full rain season the joints look way better than my usual mix. The color stayed consistent and it didn't effloresce at all, which my old blend always did. Has anyone else had good results with it on exterior work in wet climates?

My crew in Portland used it on a sea wall repair last fall. We got 42 inches of rain over the winter, and the joints held up perfectly with no washout. I was totally wrong to doubt it. The lack of efflorescence alone makes it worth the higher cost for me now. I'm switching to it for all my wet climate exterior jobs.

42 inches of rain and it held up, @anthony883? That's insane.
