Switched to cash envelopes last spring and stuck with it way longer than I expected. Seeing the money leave my hand hurts more than swiping a card.

What did the study group actually do that the course didn't? Like was it people reviewing each other's code and pointing out why your loop broke, or was it more about having a set time each week where you had to show up and say what you got stuck on? I ask because I've tried free tutorials and just quit after a week, so I'm trying to figure out if the magic was the people or just the being somewhere at a set time.

Ha, sorry but I gotta disagree with the hype here. I tried the Columbia Pike rooms back in the spring and got burned, not once but twice. First time, the room was booked solid by some group that reserves it every week, and the front desk person basically shrugged at me. Second time the heat was out in the whole branch so they closed early. Maybe Dana got lucky, but the small branches can be hit or miss since they have way fewer rooms and the same staff who have to juggle everything. Central is a pain with the waitlist, but at least you know what you're getting.
