inSnapped a Park Tool spoke wrench clean in half last Tuesday
i mean "snapped a park tool spoke wrench clean in half" sounds like you were using it as a breaker bar on a stuck bolt or something. those wrenches are pretty tough but theyre not designed to take that kind of torque like a proper spoke tool is. unless you were cranking on a seized nipple or something which yeah thatll break anything. honestly if youre putting that much force into a spoke nipple you probably should have just cut the spoke and started fresh instead of fighting it. maybe youre overthinking it a bit though because a broken wrench is annoying but not exactly the end of the world.

inThat week in Atlanta where everything went right on a commercial floor job
I used to think "this is exactly what I pictured" was just something clients say to be polite, but after hearing it myself once I finally believed it could be real. That feeling when everything clicks and the work actually matches the vision is rare enough to remember years later, and it keeps me hoping for another week like that. Makes you wonder why the universe can't just be that cooperative all the time, you know?

inCaught myself cross threading a pedal for the 3rd time this year
Oh man, I've been there. One time I spent ten minutes fighting with a pedal before realizing I was turning it the wrong way on the non-drive side. The trick that finally stuck for me was just remembering both pedals tighten by turning toward the front of the bike.

inPSA: I was using the wrong hand signals for months
Is it really that big of a deal though? I feel like most people are just looking at your boom to see if you're about to hit them, not nitpicking the exact angle of your hand. Unless you're in a super tight spot or there's zero communication, a quick nod or a shout usually clears things up anyway.

inWhy I think cork boards are overrated for pinning important stuff
I get what you mean @gracecarr, but actually magnetic boards can have their own issues too (like losing magnetism over time or not holding heavier stuff). Cork boards might not be perfect, but they're pretty solid for everyday notes and pins if you get a decent one.
