My fries and nuggets used to stick to the metal rack no matter how much oil I sprayed. This thing lets me shake everything loose in seconds and cleanup is a breeze. Anyone else find a cheap accessory that made their air fryer way better?

Last month I had to put carpet in this old house in the historic district. The floors were so off level, like a full inch drop over 10 feet. The owner wanted wall to wall in the living room and didn't want to pay for a subfloor fix. I spent half a day just trying to get the tack strip right on the worst wall, using shims and extra nails. When I finally got to the stretch, it felt like wrestling a bear uphill. The carpet kept wanting to pull away from the baseboard on the high side. I ended up using a power stretcher on a way tighter setting than normal just to get it to hold. Has anyone else had to deal with a floor that bad and found a better way to handle it?

So last Saturday was my son's 8th birthday and the whole thing was about to fall apart. The magician we booked canceled at the last minute, and I was scrambling. I ran into my usual comic shop, just to grab something as a gift, and I must have looked stressed. The owner, Mike, asked what was up. I told him, and he just said, 'Hold on.' He went to the back and came out with a box of old promo posters, some spare action figures, and a bunch of those cheap plastic rings from comic bags. He helped me put together a 'superhero training camp' in my backyard in about an hour. The kids loved it more than any magician. It wasn't about selling me stuff, he just saw a fellow fan in a bind. Has anyone else had a comic shop go way above and beyond like that?

Everyone says to always use treated pine for fence rails, but my cedar rails from a job in Boise three years ago are still perfect.
