inWhy does nobody talk about the carpet glue disaster at the old theater in Tacoma?
My uncle's kitchen tile did that on a slab from the 60s... just a slow creep over a year until the grout lines didn't match up. It feels like a lot of old building materials just have a life of their own and modern stuff doesn't always stick, literally. You see it with paint peeling off old plaster too.

inAm I the only one who used to skip the 'Previously On' recaps?
The recaps are basically a map for a show that's a maze.

inJust learned the old Bessemer converter at the Pittsburgh plant could process a 25 ton heat in under 20 minutes.
That speed is wild. Makes you wonder how many heats they could run back to back before a full reline.

inAm I the only one who plans entire days around concrete drying times?
Honestly, the worst part is when you get that one customer who thinks concrete dries like in a cartoon. They see the top is gray and figure you're good to go. Try explaining that no, your whole fence isn't going to fall over because we waited an extra hour. My schedule is just a list of things I can't do yet because something is still wet.

inA guy at the yard in Tulsa told me to always mark my flanges with a paint pen before I pull them, and man, that saved me a ton of time last week.
Mark them BEFORE you pull them? I always thought you marked them after to match them back up. That's a game changer for lining everything up again.
