Went through almost the exact same thing with a $40 bread maker last year. I was SURE the guy was gonna ask for my bank info or some weird payment app, and then he just handed it over on his porch while his little dog barked at me. Honestly my scam radar is broken, I talked myself out of good deals for months because I figured nobody sells stuff cheap unless something is wrong. Turns out most people just want the junk out of their garage and the money is a bonus. My wallet wishes I had trusted strangers a little sooner, I paid full price for stuff I could have grabbed for peanuts.
