inPro tip: I spent $80 on a 'premium' online course for beginners that was just a repackaged free YouTube playlist
My cousin paid over two hundred bucks for a coding bootcamp video series last year. Honestly, it was just a guy recording his screen while he mumbled through some basic HTML. Tbh, she got more from the free documentation on the actual project website. It feels like a lot of these courses are just people trying to make quick money.

inRemember when we used to have to make our own demi-glace from scratch every week?
My kitchen at home is way too small for that kind of project. I found a really good base at the restaurant supply store and just doctor it up a bit.

inA customer brought in a bike with a seized seatpost that had been stuck for over a year.
My old shop teacher swore by a 50/50 mix of acetone and automatic transmission fluid. He said it creeps into the corrosion better than anything. I've seen it work on a post that was in there for a decade. That white powder is the worst sign.

inPro tip: Always test audio gear before a big meeting
Wait, five whole minutes of talking to herself on mute? That's a special kind of horror, I'd have to crawl into a hole and never come out. The secondhand cringe is so real. My old laptop used to make this weird robotic buzzing sound out of nowhere, like a dying spaceship. It's why I just point at my camera now and do a thumbs up before we start, no trust left at all lol.

inI finally gave up on those cheap wireless sensors after a job in Bellingham
Those sensors have been solid for me even in freezing temps.
