Pro tip: I spent $80 on a 'premium' online course for beginners that was just a repackaged free YouTube playlist
The whole thing was just a guy reading slides for 6 hours, with zero real examples or help. I could have learned the same stuff in an afternoon for free. Has anyone actually found a paid course that was worth the money?

My cousin paid over two hundred bucks for a coding bootcamp video series last year. Honestly, it was just a guy recording his screen while he mumbled through some basic HTML. Tbh, she got more from the free documentation on the actual project website. It feels like a lot of these courses are just people trying to make quick money.

That's such a frustrating waste of money.

Did your cousin ever try to get her money back? My buddy Dan dropped $150 on a "masterclass" for video editing and the guy literally just read from a Wikipedia article for six hours. He even paused the video at one point to sneeze and forgot to cut it out. It's wild how these things get pushed as "career-changing" when they're basically just someone's poorly edited home recordings.
