Gladiator vs Ace Garage Storage?

I'd choose Ace without hesitation. I felt like some of the other brands swayed a bit too much when fully loaded, whereas the Ace overhead setup is rock solid.

TIL that BIOS beep codes are dead on new systems, and it's annoying.

Ugh tell me about it, this is just part of that whole trend where tech gets "smarter" but actually makes simple stuff harder. It's like when my car's check engine light comes on but the code reader costs more than the old mechanic just listening to the engine. Now we gotta have all these extra tools or hope the motherboard has some tiny debug LED, it's such a step back for actually fixing your own stuff.

Warning: Boss added a key cut log that's slowing us down

Look, reese586, I get why the key log seems over the top, but it does stop bad copies from being made. If someone steals a key, we can track who made the copy and when, which helps keep things safe. So even if it takes a few extra seconds, it's a small price for keeping things safe.

Thinking about the day I threw out a lot of stuff instead of recycling

My friend jamie did the same thing during her apartment switch last spring... just tossed everything to save time. She told me later she felt really guilty about all the plastic and paper that could have been reused. It's crazy how a busy moment can make us forget what we usually care about.

My lightbulb moment about using furniture for exercise

My old apartment had these weirdly sturdy kitchen chairs I tried using for step ups last year. I mean it worked okay at first but honestly I kept worrying about breaking them or slipping off. Maybe it's just me but I ended up going back to just using the stairs in my building for cardio. I guess I feel safer with stuff made for working out, even if it costs more.
