Warning: I tried a wireless retrofit on a 1980s commercial panel in a Denver office building last month and it was a total nightmare. Hardwired is still king for those old beasts.

Reading a 1920s trade journal and saw they used fish glue for leather bindings. Had no idea that was a thing.

Found my old Geocities page from 2002 and the guestbook is a mess of broken links.

Those broken links are the real history, not the polished stuff. They show the actual mess of people trying to connect. Trying to clean it up would miss the point completely.

@garcia.charles has a point, but you skipped a glow plug check?

My buddy said I watch shows too fast... like I'm just checking boxes. He told me to try 'The Bear' with a one episode per day limit. It changed the whole thing for me.

My friend did this with Severance and said the weekly cliffhangers made the show feel like an event again.

Yeah, I had to do the same thing. Binging makes everything feel like background noise. Limiting myself to one episode forced me to actually sit with what happened, like letting a good meal settle. It's crazy how much more you pick up on when you're not rushing to the next thing. Your buddy gave you solid advice.

Chatting with my neighbor Greg about his kimchi totally flipped my view on salt

Yeah, the local climate thing makes so much sense... I never even thought about that.
