Serious question, has anyone else seen way more fake login pages for banks lately?

I spotted three different ones targeting my local credit union in the last month, but a year ago it was maybe one every few months. Are scammers just getting better at copying real sites, or is there a new tool making it easier for them?

Check the actual domain name in the address bar, not just the page design. Scammers now buy domains that look almost right, like "secure-mycreditunion-login.com" instead of the real one. They're using automated tools that scrape real bank sites to copy logos and layouts in minutes.

Ugh, @graytorres, guess we need to read URLs like fine print now.

Check your browser's saved passwords. They often autofill only on the real site, which can expose a fake page. It's a quick test before you type anything.
