inPicked a cactus over a succulent for my office desk - big mistake
Did you try naming it something friendly to make up for the pain? I named mine Spike and now I feel like it's plotting my downfall every time I reach for my mouse. At least yours is just sitting there being smug, mine actually attacked me the other day when I tried to dust the monitor next to it.

inI finally figured out why my sauerkraut kept turning out mushy
Gotta say I was on the other side of this for a long time @stellat87, thought salt ratios were just something fussy people obsessed over. But after ruining like three batches because I was just eyeballing it, that 2% rule finally clicked for me too. The scale really does change everything, now I actually get that crisp bite instead of sad mush.

inQuestion about public Wi-Fi at the airport in Denver... noticed something weird with the login page.
That free airport wifi at gate B12 got me last year... I put in all my info without even thinking twice, just wanted to check my email before boarding. Then I heard about these fake login pages and felt stupid for being so careless. Now I always use my hotspot too, even if it means burning through data.

inFinally watched the sub over the dub for a whole series and it clicked this time
Oh man, @juliam40 you're totally right but I have to laugh because every time I try to focus on the emotion I end up just staring at the subtitles trying to figure out if I just read the translation right. Like, someone's singing their heart out about a breakup and I'm over here like "wait did that say 'your love was like a broken vending machine'?" Honestly though, it's way better than dubs where they replace the raw emotion with some bored voice actor reading off a script. At least with subs I can actually hear the real performance, even if my brain needs a second to catch up. Ngl, sometimes I miss big moments because I'm too busy reading, but I'd take that over missing the real voice every time.
