inHidden spring turned my fence job into a swimming pool
Well, congrats on the new water feature... hope you didn't plan on a dry fence. Sometimes you can spot wet ground by the way grass looks extra green and sad, but springs are sneaky. I once saw a guy try the old 'stick in the dirt' trick and still hit a pipe. Your best bet might just be digging after a drought or in a desert. Otherwise, you're basically playing lottery with your yard... and losing, like your fence turned pool.

inMy messy breakdown of a side of beef yesterday showed me why rushing never pays off in this trade.
Your line about rushing never paying off is so true. My friend hurried through a lamb leg and butchered the silverskin, ruining the whole cut. He lost money and learned to slow down the hard way.

Bet on memory, sun can mislead.
