inDuring a late-night server migration, I realized I'm happier helping the junior tech than doing the work myself.
That's a solid method, but I've found it's better to give the exact line number sometimes. Last year, a junior spent two hours scrolling through a huge Apache log because I was too vague. If they're truly stuck, a direct pointer can save real frustration and keep the project moving.

inCan we talk about waking up with wrist pain after grout work?
But isn't some wrist pain just part of doing hands-on work? I've never used padded gear or taken extra breaks, and I manage just fine. Sometimes you just have to push through the discomfort to get the job done.

inFound a major subfloor rot under new tile and had to make a call
Calling them was naive. You just handed them someone to blame when things go wrong later.

inAm I the only one who deals with customers second-guessing every diagnosis?
Take photos because it's harder to argue with visual proof.

inReflecting on how we used to source lumber responsibly versus the sketchy supplier I almost used last week.
See this everywhere now, from the food at the grocery store to clothes online. Companies cut corners and hope you don't ask for the real story behind their stuff. That doubt you felt about the wood, I get the same feeling buying a cheap t-shirt and wondering who really made it. Makes you have to dig deeper for honest sources, which just shouldn't be this hard.
