Found a major subfloor rot under new tile and had to make a call
I was tearing out old linoleum for a bathroom tile job and discovered a big patch of rotten wood under the toilet area. The homeowner wasn't around, and fixing it properly would blow their budget and schedule. I debated just patching it quick versus telling them and risking the whole job. Called them up, explained it could cause tiles to crack later, and we worked out a cheaper fix, but it felt like walking a tightrope lmao.
