Heard about a buddy who had his press fail mid-project last winter. He ended up using a big C-clamp and a chunk of countertop to get through it, which was a total mess. I mean, that kind of jury-rigging is so stressful when you're in the middle of something. I don't know a source offhand, but maybe check with some of the smaller print shops? Sometimes they upgrade and sell the old gear. Good luck, that sounds like a rough spot to be in.

Reminds me of how people hype up basic things as life changing. Saw a post last week raving about a new toaster that "changed everything." It was just a toaster. We're all so desperate for something to be amazing that we forget what normal looks like.

Butterfield's Old World Stone pattern is surprisingly durable for a plastic stamp. My neighbor's stamped walkway in Dayton started flaking after just one winter though. A good sealer might help, but I'm still not sold on the long-term look.
