My rose bush looks odd after I cut it back last spring.

Oh man, sounds like your rose bush is holding a grudge! Give it some extra plant food, maybe it'll forgive you and bloom next year.

Back when I shared art on forums, people really talked about it. Now my stuff just scrolls by.

@riverhunt nailed it. Feels dead now. Back in the day, comments would really dig into your work. Someone might ask about the blue tones in a painting. We'd talk for hours about what it meant. Now, it's just a heart emoji and scroll. My last piece got fifty likes but no real words. Makes you wonder why we even post.

Rant: My head chef only says 'it's fine' to my new dishes.

Tbh, when he just says "it's fine," that might be all the feedback you get. Is it really that serious? Maybe he's busy or thinks your dish is actually okay. If you want more notes, try asking him specific questions next time. Not every boss is gonna give you a detailed review, and that's normal.

I always passed on eggs, but now they're my breakfast staple

Seriously, @jasont56, it's messed up how long bad info sticks around. What makes people so sure of old advice even when new science says otherwise? Do you think doctors are to blame for not updating patients, or is it just human nature to cling to what we learned first? I wasted years skipping eggs too, and now I eat them daily. How do we even know what to trust anymore?

A couple on my block retired early from smart investments, and I want to learn how.

Set up automatic transfers to a low-cost index fund.
