inA client's grandma told me my balayage looked like a 'happy little accident'
That "happy little accident" line is so good. It's wild how someone who doesn't know the rules can just cut right to the point. I mean, we get so stuck in the steps sometimes we forget the whole thing is supposed to look good, not just be correct.

inHad a weird echo on the comms during a hull clean in Seattle last week
Yeah grounding loops are the worst, they just show up out of nowhere. It's always some tiny change you'd never think about, like a new power strip or a different cable run. The ringing is so distinct though, once you've heard it you never forget that sound. We ended up putting ferrite cores on everything as a band-aid until we found the real source. Took forever to trace it back to a single bad outlet.

inSerious question, has anyone else had a nightmare with a legacy CAD file from a 1990s project?
Yeah, @uma_nelson85 gets it, this is just how old tech fights back.

inSpotted a flyer for a $40 corkboard and it saved my whole kitchen wall
My fridge was a paper avalanche before my corkboard.

inJust tried a new way to mix a toner and it worked way better than I thought
Honestly, that's a solid tweak. I've had to do something similar with a 6A before, bumping up the color to developer just a bit. Those old dyes can be such a pain to lift evenly. Makes you wonder why the standard ratios don't always cut it, right?
