My Phillips head screwdriver is basically a universal problem solver at this point, from tightening cabinet hinges to prying open paint cans. It's amazing how many "big jobs" are just a loose screw away from becoming a total disaster. I guess my version of a good tool is whatever is already in my hand when something breaks.
