You don't need a string line for a straight fence, just a good eye and practice.

Have you seen my crooked deck though?

Client emails at 2 AM are wrecking my sleep

Honestly you just gotta set clear hours and stick to them. I turn off my work app notifications after 6 pm so I don't even see the email until morning. You could set an auto reply that says you got their message and will review it during business hours. It feels scary at first but most clients actually respect it. They're just working when it suits them, they don't expect an instant reply.

Am I the only one who stopped letting AI pick my news feed?

Seriously, I did the same thing after missing some major neighborhood news. I tried what @wendyb32 said for a bit, but it still felt too narrow for me. Now I just check a couple different sites myself and it's way better.

Augmented reality guides seemed like a gimmick until I tried one on a tricky repair.

Seriously, that's the quiet pattern with all this stuff now. The same tech we first see in games or silly apps ends up being the exact thing that fixes a boring, hard problem at work. It happened with smartphone cameras becoming inspection tools, and now AR moving from catching monsters to tracing a hydraulic line. The real use always seems to be making a messy, brain frying job just a bit clearer.

Seeing more edited astro photos online inspired me to learn processing

But honestly... that video game look is kinda the point for some people. It's just another way to make art, and going way too far can be fun sometimes.
