TIL my bus stop has a weird time skip thing

I was waiting for the bus this morning, like usual. My phone said 8:10, and I stood there for what felt like half an hour. When I looked again, it was still 8:10. The same bus arrived at what should have been 8:15. This has happened to me twice now at that exact spot. If you use that stop, keep an eye on the clock. It's like minutes just vanish there.

Chicago's bus terminal has rumors of time skips like that.

Went through O'Hare once and my watch was a full hour off from every clock in the terminal. Felt super glitchy. Just sat tight and waited for my actual boarding call.

Always thought those stories were just weird jokes until @betty_shah mentioned the bus terminal thing. My phone did the same glitch last month at Union Station, showed a time that wasn't real. Kind of makes you wonder what's up with Chicago.
