Honestly... who cares what someone else does with their own garage? If they want a spotless showroom floor, that's their business. My space is a mess and I like it that way, but I'm not losing sleep over how other people organize their tools. The whole argument feels like making a big deal out of nothing. Let people enjoy their space however they want.

My garage floor has a permanent half-inch of sawdust. Makes those showrooms feel like a different planet.
