Update: I thought stripping a painted dresser would be a weekend job

The original paint was lead-based, so I had to switch to a chemical gel and it took three full weeks. Anyone have a faster method for that situation?

Oh man, I feel that. My last "quick" project is still sitting in my garage half-finished.
