Saw a local coffee shop in Portland using QR codes on their tables for reviews

I was at a place called Stumptown Coffee last week and noticed they had little QR codes on every table that went straight to their Google Maps review page. The barista told me they saw a 40% jump in reviews in just two months after putting them out. It's such a simple way to capture feedback right when the experience is fresh. Has anyone else tried something like this for a local business client?

My buddy runs a food truck and did the same thing with a QR code on his napkin holders. He said people just pull out their phones and scan it while they're waiting, so it's super easy for them. The trick is making sure the code works fast and goes right to the review page, not your homepage. Have you seen if the reviews they're getting are mostly positive?

Actually, my buddy's the one with the food truck! But yeah, the QR code tip is spot on.
