Switched to a laser level for my last framing job and it cut my time by 40%

I've been using a standard bubble level for years on residential framing. Last month I tried a self-leveling green beam laser on a 2,400 sq ft house in Denver. I set it up in the middle of the floor and it projected lines across all the walls at once. No more walking back and forth to check each stud. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a big difference in accuracy?

One thing nobody's brought up is how the laser cuts down on mistakes with things like door headers and window openings. Instead of snapping lines and hoping the level is reading true, you can see exactly where things sit before the nail gun even fires. The time savings are real, but the reduction in callbacks from wonky framing is where the real payoff shows up.

Did your buddy @rosek73 also notice the laser handling different ceiling heights? My friend Mike tried one on a 2-story townhouse and said the beam spread saved him from having to climb down and reset the level every time he moved across a room. He still carries a torpedo level for the tight spots though, says the laser can't touch corners or door jambs.
