Quiet win: My solo dev tool hit 100 users in 3 months without a dollar on ads

I launched a small B2B SaaS for small construction crews back in February. Got the first 20 users from posting in a few niche Facebook groups and one Reddit thread. Then one guy from a crew in Calgary told his buddy, and it just snowballed from there. Hit 100 active users this week, mostly all word of mouth. Anyone else have a tool grow faster than they expected from just organic chatter?

100 users is active users or just signups?

@brian303 Depends on how they count it. If it's just email signups with no action taken, that number is basically vapor. Real users are people who actually logged in and did something within a 7 day window. I've seen plenty of "100 user" launches where 80 of them never came back after day one. Ask the OP if they track session time or feature usage. That'll tell you if the 100 number has any weight behind it.
