Thinking I could speed read through the first 100 pages of Gravity's Rainbow in an afternoon
Took me four days and I still had to google half the references, not sure I actually absorbed any of it. Has anyone else spent way too long on a book everyone claims is a masterpiece?

Bought Ulysses because everyone said it was genius and gave up on page 30.
