Heads up: That book club debate turned into a full on argument last night in Austin
Tbh, I went to a book club meetup last week at a coffee shop on South Congress thinking we'd just chat about the latest novel. Instead, someone brought up a controversial take about the author's politics and it got heated real fast. Three people walked out after 20 minutes of yelling over plot symbolism. Has anyone else had a book club debate spiral out of control like that?
