Got completely turned around on the Lost Coast Trail because of a tide chart mix-up

I was about a mile north of Shelter Cove and realized my printed tide table was for the wrong week. I had to backtrack and wait for almost five hours on a rocky shelf for the water to go down enough to pass a section. Has anyone else had a close call with the tides up there? What's your go-to source for accurate charts?

My cousin tried to bike that section once and his phone died with the tide page open. He ended up wading through knee deep water with his bike over his head. I just use the NOAA site directly now and double check the dates like three times. That coast doesn't mess around.

That story would make anyone check the tides twice.
